Our philosophy
Dunham Guitars was founded around the principle that music and rhythm represents one of humanity's fundamental connections to each other, Nature, and the Universe at large. As founder, president and operator, my promise is to produce instruments with precision craftsmanship, awe-inspiring natural materials, and the highest attention to the qualitative as well as the quantitative.
Vision
The current goal at Dunham Guitars is annual output of approximately 20-30 production models and 5-10 custom models. The process for all builds utilizes a combination of woodworking by hand tools, power tools, and CNC, with each operation chosen purposefully to provide the best design and function for the instrument. As opposed to large high-volume manufacturers who use CNC for speed and scale, the purpose of CNC at Dunham Guitars is specifically for high-precision operations and ensuring repeatable quality in every instrument produced.
